UUkes is a group of people who enjoy learning and playing the ukulele. We occasionally perform for NUUC church services or other events, but mostly we just have fun. Whether you are a beginner or have been playing the ukulele for a while, you are welcome to join us.

Namaqua hosts our own Open Mic Night! Come one, come all - musicians, poets, comedians, actors, dancers, storytellers, jugglers - anyone with something to share or who wants to be part of a supportive audience is welcome.
The annual NUUC Auction is our biggest all-church event and fundraiser of the year. Come fill up your social calendar with special auction item events, such as theme-based dinners, concerts, etc. Special artwork and other items are also auctioned off. Enjoy the food, the fun, and especially the great fellowship of our NUUC Community.

This is a welcome gathering for newcomers who want to learn more about Namaqua and Unitarian Universalism. It takes place on the 3rd Sunday of each month, after the service, in Rev. Dana’s office. Feel free to bring your questions!
