The legal authority of Namaqua lies with the Board of Trustees (BoT), which is responsible for policy development, fiscal management and strategic planning. Their monthly meetings (Second Tuesday of each month, 6:30-8:30) are open to all and action as are reported in the Crossings newslettter each month.

Committee on Shared Ministries
The Committee on Shared Ministries (CoSM) is the coordinating body which facilitates the actual work of the church. CoSM works directly with chairs of the volunteer ministries, which plan and implement programs. Ministry chairs are all members of NUUC’s Council who meet quarterly to plan with each other. Leadership Development Committee
The Leadership Development Committee (LDC) is responsible for submitting names of candidates for vacant positions on the Board of Trustees and the Committee on Shared Ministries at the annual congregational meeting in May. This committee also provides leadership development, retreat planning, and resources and assistance for the other elected committees. Interested in leadership?
