At a time when it feels like many of our social institutions are sliding out of control, this wonky technical distinction may be able to help us make sense of what is going on around us and restore some social stability. Former Worship Associate Andy Carlson (author of The Progressive Worldview) and Worship Associate Doug Stewart lead the service to consider our social “big picture” context.
