Worship Service – “Improv as Spiritual Practice” – Guest Speaker, Rev. Lydia Ferrante-Roseberry, and Worship Associate, kathy hartman

If there’s one thing these past few years have taught us, it’s that life throws us curveballs. Sociologist Zygmunt Bauman has defined this era as one with a “liquid culture” — a time of constant mobility and change that is requiring all aspects of our life to be more agile. In this service, we look at improv as a spiritual practice that can support us in a playful way as we live in these unprecedented times.
Bio: Rev. Lydia Ferrante-Roseberry is a long-time friend of Namaqua UU. She blends her passion for justice with a constant quest to live a joy-filled life. Rev. Lydia is the former minister of the Boulder Valley UU Fellowship in Lafayette. She is currently a consultant for the UUA’s Stewardship for Us Team, and a part-time organizer for Together Colorado, the multi-faith statewide organization committed to a multiracial democracy where all people are valued.
