Worship Service – “Repairing Injustice: Right Relations with Indigenous People” – Rev. Dana Lightsey and Guests

August 25 @ 10:00 am - 11:15 am

Join us as we learn about the history of the Unitarians with the Ute Indians in the 1800’s and our efforts to repair the damage that Unitarians and our colonial culture caused. We welcome Christinia Eala from Tiyospaye Winyan Maka to share about local efforts to bring healing and reparations to native people.

There is a special, interactive workshop after the service called “Roots of Injustice, Seeds of Change”. This workshop will reflect on the injustices in the history of Indigenous people and how we might bring healing and change to our relationships.
