Worship Service – “Sustainability and the Interdependent Web” – Rev. Dana Lightsey and Junior Worship Associate, Avery Ford

August 18 @ 10:00 am - 11:15 am

From plastics to clothing, UU’s are committed to finding sustainable ways of living.  As part of our Summer of Service, we are looking at the problem of textiles and clothing waste on the planet, which is the 2nd largest polluter (oil and gas industry is the largest).

You are invited to bring your gently used clothing for a clothing swap at the end of the service.  By exchanging our clothes, we are helping to reduce our clothing footprint and be sustainable with our fashion.
