The slide show features renowned historical sites from Kathmandu Valley, where Buddhism and Hinduism merge in a mystical blend of spiritual awareness. Sites include two of the world’s most famous Buddhist stupas (Swayambhunath and Boudhanath), one of Hinduism’s most cherished locations (the cremation complex of Pashupatinath), as well as the pagoda‑style temple complexes of the Kathmandu Valley. In addition, the slide show will take viewers on the 12‑day trek through the predominantly Buddhist Khumbu region of eastern Nepal to Everest Base Camp, with stops at Namche Bazaar (the Sherpa capital of the world, sitting at 11,286 ft. above sea level) and the famous Buddhist monastery at Tengboche (12,687 ft.). Come join the journey along perilous mountain paths and heart‑stopping, white‑knuckle scampers across swinging bridges that span deep chasms with churning mountain rivers hundreds of feet below, all the way to Everest Base Camp (17,600 ft.).
