Adult Enrichment Class: The Power of Myth
As seen on PBS, this is a stimulating conversation between comparative mythologist Joseph Campbell and journalist Bill Moyers. Campbell suggests that myths hold keys to understanding the human experience, including self-fulfillment, social integration, and even transcendence.
We will meet for six 2-hour sessions, watching the video together and then discussing it.
January session dates:
• Saturday, January 17 — 10:00 a.m. to noon
• Saturday, January 24 — 10:00 a.m. to noon
• Saturday, January 31 — 10:00 a.m. to noon
We will meet in Parker Hall, with a Zoom option available for those who prefer to join remotely. Childcare is available upon request.
