DESCRIPTION:It is not unusual for some UUs to find Christian teachings difficult and even triggering. This Sunday’s service will give us a helpful reframing\, with the focus on the teachings of Jesus directly from his native tongue of Aramaic\, as translated by linguistic scholar Neil Douglas-Klotz. Klotz also wrote music for the words. Our presenter\, Rev. Timothy Dobson\, has been a student of these teachings and this music for thirty-five years. Timothy will lead us in singing some of these melodies and will delve into the rich metaphoric meanings behind the teachings. \n \nBio: Timothy Dobson is a minister of the All Seasons Chalice Church/Starhouse in Boulder and the founding minister of SpirtKeepers Interfaith Fellowship\, which met for 20 years\, also in Boulder. He has taught the Dances of Universal Peace along the Colorado Front Range and offered workshops through the dances nationally and internationally over the last 35 years. \nClick Here for the Zoom Link!

You’ll be invited to feel a wave of relief\, then notice what that future looks\, sounds\, smells\, and feels like. Our February mantra is Calm and Centered. DESCRIPTION:Join our welcoming West African drumming class! This six-week series is open to all levels. Beginners will learn basic drum sounds\, play fundamental patterns\, and build the skills to play music together as a group while experienced drummers will be challenged with solo phrases\, breaks\, and traditional dunun. Don’t know what any of that means? That’s okay—we’ll learn together in a supportive\, joyful environment. Ever wanted to drum? This community class is a great place to start.
