DESCRIPTION:It is not unusual for some UUs to find Christian teachings difficult and even triggering. This Sunday’s service will give us a helpful reframing\, with the focus on the teachings of Jesus directly from his native tongue of Aramaic\, as translated by linguistic scholar Neil Douglas-Klotz. Klotz also wrote music for the words. Our presenter\, Rev. Timothy Dobson\, has been a student of these teachings and this music for thirty-five years. Timothy will lead us in singing some of these melodies and will delve into the rich metaphoric meanings behind the teachings. \n \nBio: Timothy Dobson is a minister of the All Seasons Chalice Church/Starhouse in Boulder and the founding minister of SpirtKeepers Interfaith Fellowship\, which met for 20 years\, also in Boulder.
