He began studying music when he was eight years old\, and the guitar has remained a close companion ever since. \nHe graduated from Drew Theological Seminary and served as a United Methodist minister in the New Mexico Annual Conference. He then went to work in the oil industry\, where he specialized in organizational development and quality control. \nHerb is an author\, composer\, an avid camper\, and baseball fan. DESCRIPTION:The board will offer open forums to discuss church issues with the congregation. It has been noted that our bi-annual congregational meetings are just too packed with important business to have room for the informal talks that we need as a community. These forums will be held for an hour or so after church services and each will have a specific focus as well as opportunity to bring new ideas and concerns to the leadership. They’ll be scheduled as various needs arise\, not necessarily every month. The January forum will focus on our financial picture and what we are planning for the extra funds we raised during the recent pledge campaign.

DESCRIPTION:Join us as we set aside an evening where we can come together in community to learn more about ourselves and each other. Through a process called SoulCollage®\, created by therapist Seena Frost more than 20 years ago\, we will select random images to collage onto a card that will help us to map our inner landscapes and connect with the wisest parts of ourselves. No artistic experience is needed or required and in fact by using this process\, everyone becomes an instant artist and also explorers of Soul. Please bring a small snack to share.
