DESCRIPTION:At a special celebratory service on May 18th\, we would like to acknowledge our youth and get to know them better. We will have a gift for them and a Coming of Age ritual where they share their credos with the congregation. For our teens who would like to participate\, we will have a party/rehearsal where we will practice sharing our credos with each other. We will also have some fun making dinner and various crafts (like prayer beads) that pertain to our UU values. DESCRIPTION:Sue Matthews will be teaching how we can help in an emergency here in our congregation. The class will be held in the Sanctuary. If a life-threatening event occurs\, we should all be familiar with the AED machine so that we can assist medically trained personnel who are administering CPR. In this one-hour class\, Sue will cover what kinds of events require CPR and when to use the AED (Automated External Defibrillator). All adults and youth are welcome.
