In this service\, guest minister dr. clare hammoor and Worship Associate Janet Gillette get curious about what happens when we choose to listen to ourselves. Sometimes it works. Sometimes things go awry. But isn’t that the magic of liberal spirituality? This service is a special request from Janet Gillette who purchased the “topic of choice sermon” from clare at the NUUC auction over a year ago. \nGuest Bio: dr. clare hammoor is a collaborative educator and theatre-maker committed to justice and joy with experience teaching\, directing\, and devising in universities\, public and private schools\, professional theaters\, and prisons. clare is fascinated by object-oriented ontologies\, playing with things\, ritual work\, and interdisciplinary collaboration. \nclare has taught at New York University and University of Denver among other institutions and given lectures across the US and Europe.
