SUMMARY:Adult Enrichment Class: The Power of Myth
DESCRIPTION:As seen on PBS\, this is a stimulating conversation between comparative mythologist Joseph Campbell and journalist Bill Moyers. Campbell suggests that myths hold keys to understanding the human experience\, including self-fulfillment\, social integration\, and even transcendence. \nWe will meet for six 2-hour sessions\, watching the video together and then discussing it. \nJanuary session dates: \n• Saturday\, January 17 — 10:00 a.m. to noon \n• Saturday\, January 24 — 10:00 a.m. to noon \n• Saturday\, January 31 — 10:00 a.m. to noon \nWe will meet in Parker Hall\, with a Zoom option available for those who prefer to join remotely.
