DESCRIPTION:The Board is once again looking into Stewardship as Namaqua’s primary financial tool. Come join us in the sanctuary when our community minister\, Reverend Lydia Ferrante-Roseberry\, will give us an overview of the stewardship model and answer questions about it. \nSome of the healthiest UU congregations focus on stewardship rather than fundraising. While fundraising refers to money-raising efforts\, stewardship is an attitude that is reflected in all of the congregation’s efforts. Fundraising emphasizes the need of the recipient; stewardship addresses people’s spiritual need to give.
